Meet the Team

Juliana Bryansmith (she/her)

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder

It’s nice to meet you. My name is Juliana, and I am the proud mom of a neurodivergent child.

When my child was born, as I rocked them to sleep I would imagine all of the accomplishments, milestones and joy in front of us. My vision was linear and nuclear. The milestones would come easy.  The next 7 years would be anything but that. Through a neurodivergent diagnosis, I learned that comparison is the thief of joy, and I had to radically adjust my world view as I helped my child navigate a world that was not made for them- that was not made for us. Through this journey, which we are still on together, I found great purpose and joy in learning who my child is and how his neurodivergence is a strength, not a weakness.

When my child was 5, I stepped down from my 10 years as a New York City elementary school principal to lean into the support and advocacy I knew they would need. I became certified in Orton-Gillingham to support them in reading, and began to tutor other children as well. This opened me up to a whole new community of overwhelmed families who just wanted to do right by their kids, but weren’t sure where to even start. I found myself finding great joy in supporting them in finding their path to empowerment. It’s not easy, but it’s easier when we do it together.

This is why we created My Neurodiversity Coach. Our goal is to help the entire ecosystem that surrounds a neurodivergent individual- families, partners, managers and organizations- learn that neurodiversity makes us better through advocacy, empowerment and joy.

What if we changed the narrative around neurodivergence? What doors will open when we focus on the strengths and not the gaps? What are the possibilities in a more neurodivergent friendly world? I hope you join me on this incredible journey to find out.

With Love,

Juliana

Alexa Rowek (she/her)

Chief Neurodiversity Officer and Co-Founder

I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Alexa, and I’m the proud mom of two incredible kiddos who teach me something new every single day. I’ve devoted my life and career to empowering neurodivergent individuals and their families—helping them navigate their journeys with confidence, joy, and a deep sense of belonging.

From the moment I stepped into the classroom, I knew my heart belonged in special education. I began as a special education teacher, moved into an assistant principal role, and later led the Special Education Department for a large school district in New Jersey. Along the way, I met countless families—many hearing the words “your child learns differently” for the first time—feeling overwhelmed, lost, and unsure of where to turn.

That’s why we created My Neurodiversity Coach—to be the support system I knew families needed but too often didn’t have. We’re here to provide a safe, affirming space where caregivers can find clarity, connection, and real, actionable strategies. Whether you're navigating a new diagnosis or just looking for someone who truly gets it, you belong here.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to help every family walk away feeling strong, joyful, and confident—not just in their ability to advocate for their child, but in celebrating the beautiful strengths of neurodivergence. Together, we’re shifting the narrative—from struggle and survival to hope, pride, and possibility.

You are not alone on this journey, and I would be honored to walk alongside you.

With love and encouragement,

Alexa
